PDFPageLab / Flip or mirror a PDF
Flip PDF pages horizontally
Mirror one page or many, left to right. Useful for scans taken through the back of a sheet, or artwork that has to be printed as a mirror image.
Free. No account. Your file stays on your device.
How to flip or mirror a PDF
Open the PDF
Drop it on the editor and wait for the thumbnails.
Select the pages and choose Flip
The thumbnail mirrors straight away, so you can check it before saving. Flip again to undo it.
Download
The mirror is applied to the page content itself, so it is the same in every PDF viewer.
When you need a mirrored page
Mirror images come up in iron-on transfers, window decals, screen printing and film or tracing work, where the print needs to read backwards so it reads correctly on the finished surface.
They also fix scans where a page was captured from behind or reflected by a scanner. Flip works together with rotation, so a page can be turned and mirrored in either order and still come out right.
Questions
What does flip horizontal do?
It swaps left and right, as if the page were held up to a mirror. The top stays at the top.
Does flipping make the text unreadable or blurry?
The text becomes a mirror image on purpose, but it stays sharp. Pages are not turned into pictures.
Can I flip and rotate the same page?
Yes. Both are saved together and the result matches the preview.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Flipping happens in your browser.
