Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026
The short version
Your PDFs are opened, edited and saved inside your own browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.
There are no accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information to use the editor.
Your files
When you open a PDF, your browser reads it into its memory so PDFPageLab can show and change it. The file is not sent over the internet. Pages you edit, split, merge or extract are created on your device and saved wherever your browser saves downloads.
Your file stays in browser memory only while the tab is open. Closing the tab, reloading the page or choosing New file removes it.
What we do collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically record technical details when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems. Logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.
Fonts. Our pages load a typeface from Google Fonts. When they do, your browser contacts Google's servers, which can see your IP address. This request does not include your PDF.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load. It works without cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It never sees the contents of your PDFs.
Contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply.
What we do not do
We do not currently show advertising or use tracking cookies. We do not sell or share personal information. We do not read, store or analyse the contents of your PDFs.
If we add advertising, accounts, payments or any feature that processes data on a server, we will describe it on this page and update the date at the top before it goes live.
Cookies and local storage
PDFPageLab does not set cookies and does not save data in your browser's storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above, works without cookies.
Other websites
Our pages may link to other sites. We are not responsible for how they handle your data, so check their policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the UK, the European Economic Area or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold very little personal data, this mostly concerns email you have sent us. To make a request, write to [email protected].
Children
The service is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Because your files never leave your device, the main risks are on your side: keep your browser and device up to date, and be careful where you save the downloaded files. We use HTTPS so that the pages you load cannot be altered on the way to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
